7:00 AM – 7:15 AM | Lighting the Oil Lamp Ceremony
Official opening ceremony.
Speech by event organizers and key partners.
7:15 AM – 7:45 AM | Event Briefing & Welcome
Introduction to the event, race categories, and activities.
Explanation of event flow and expectations.
7:45 AM – 8:00 AM | Safety Briefing & Race Rules
Overview of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Explanation of race rules, category details, and track layouts.

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Racing Events (Weather Dependent)
Main Race Categories:
Jet Ski Races (Three Categories)
130 HP Jet Ski Race
300 HP Jet Ski Race
Open Category (any Jet Ski)
Races are run in pairs, winners advance through knockout rounds.
Finalists will compete in the evening for the championship title.
Track: 1 km with 4 turns.
Ocean Kayak Race
Conducted between Jet Ski races.
Participants will be provided with kayaks, paddles, and life jackets.
Winners advance through knockout rounds to determine the final race.
Dragon Board Race
Conducted between Jet Ski races.
Teams will compete to advance to the final round.
Sailing Race (Running Simultaneously)
Separate course from other races.
Organized by the sailing community.
Marvel Sri Lanka will provide safety support and rescue services.
Event Logistics & Safety
Equipment & Setup:
All Jet Skis must be brought to Port City by February 28th, 4:00 PM.
All boats will be transported to Galle Face using a boom truck.
Jet Ski launching and unloading will be managed by the event team.
Safety Measures:
20 certified lifeguards on duty.
Ambulance & on-site doctors available.
2 safety Jet Skis & a RIB boat for emergency response.
Judge Panel & Coordination:
Judges will monitor races using video cameras and flag signals (red, yellow, green).
Walkie-talkies will be used for real-time communication.
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Final Races & Winner Selection
Final Jet Ski, Ocean Kayak, and Dragon Board races.
Champions for each category are determined.
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Award Ceremony
Medals, certificates, and gift vouchers are awarded to winners.
7:00 PM – Late | After Party
Celebration for participants, guests, and organizers.
Participant Requirements
Jet Ski Racers: Must bring their own helmet and gloves.
Ocean Kayak Racers: Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets will be provided.
All Participants: Must sign an indemnity waiver before competing.
Final Notes
Race schedules may be adjusted based on weather conditions.
Sailing race will operate independently under the guidance of the sailing community.
Safety is the top priority, and all participants must adhere to race guidelines.
