Giving priority to religious ceremonies, the party’s anniversary celebration will be held today (03) under the leadership of party leader, former president Mahinda Rajapaksa and founder Basil Rajapaksa to be held at the party’s head office at Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla.
Also tonight, a sermon on the chanting of Pirth will be held with the participation of a hundred Maha Sangharatna and tomorrow (04) a ‘dana’ will be held on the subject of Maha Sangharatna.
Parliament member Namal Rajapaksa said that a large number of ministers and active members of the party have been invited to this event.
