The UNP working committee today endorsed General Sarath Fonseka as their common presidential candidate. However three UNP members, including MP Johnston Fernando and Azath Saly objected to the decision. UNP Leader Ranil Wickramasingha announced the UNP decision at a press briefing. (KB)
